The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is teaming up with the U.S. Navy for a special Fleet Week event on Sunday, May 5. This free program (with paid museum admission) offers a fun and educational opportunity for the whole family to learn about the Navy's role in science, technology and ocean conservation.
Highlights include:
- Meet the Navy's K9 working dogs: Witness special demonstrations showcasing the impressive skills of these canine companions.
- Engage with Navy scientists and historians: Learn about the Navy's vital research and historical significance through interactive exhibits and presentations.
- Experience live performances: Enjoy music from the talented Navy Band Southeast and witness the discipline and precision of the Silent Guard.

- Navy Entomology Center of Excellence: Get up close and personal with live insects and explore the fascinating world of naval entomology.
- Naval STEM: Participate in hands-on activities that explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a naval context.
- Naval History & Heritage Command: Uncover the fascinating history of the Navy and test your understanding of basic maritime principles.
- Naval Helicopter Aviation: Learn about the capabilities of the MH-60R helicopter and even try on flight equipment!
