Monkey Jungle

Escape Miami and join a jungle safari at Monkey Jungle. Home to nearly 400 primates, Monkey Jungle in Miami is one of the few protected habitats of primates in the U.S. and is the only protected habitat open to the public. Monkey Jungle Miami features 30 species of primates including gibbons, spider monkeys, and Java monkeys which first welcome visitors to the park. Monkey Jungle is also dedicated to the international effort to save primates including the native Brazilian Golden Lion Tamarin. In an attempt to further promote the awareness of primates, Monkey Jungle introduces audiences to the lifestyles of the orangutan through impromptu acts by these adorable apes.
