Museum of Contemporary Art

The Miami Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) strives to make contemporary art a vibrant part of Miami life. Housed in a 23,000-square-foot building in North Miami and designed by architect Charles Gwathmey, the Museum of Contemporary Art has a reputation for being as innovative as it is stimulating! As is evidenced by the eight to ten exhibitions it hosts annually. Its permanent collection features more than 400 works representing new and established artists. The Miami Museum of Contemporary Art also presents a variety of special events, including lectures and discussions, jazz performances, classical concerts and film screenings.
