Championship Cup Series Motorcycle Road Racing brings an exciting weekend of motorcycle racing to South Florida's favorite track, Homestead-Miami Speedway. Hundreds of motorcycle racers - experts and amateurs alike - come to Greater Miami to race in the CCS Motorcycle Road Racing competition. Racers compete in a number of different CCS motorcycle racing categories, including Middleweight Grand Prix, Unlimited SuperSport, Lightweight SuperBike, Lightweight Formula 40 and ThunderBike. Other CCS Motorcycle Road Racing categories include SuperTwins, Ultra-Light SuperBike and Heavyweight Vintage.
The Championship Cup Series was founded in 1984 and makes its home in Fort Worth, Texas. Parent company of the Championship Cup Series is the American SportBike Racing Association.
CCS sprints are held at Homestead-Miami Speedway three times a year: in February, June and December. Perhaps best known as the home track for NASCAR's Ford Championship Weekend, Homestead-Miami Speedway is one of several Florida tracks that host CCS Motorcycle Road Racing events. The road course at Homestead-Miami Speedway measures 2.21 miles.
