February is Miami Romance Month, so not only do we celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14, love is in the air all month long. Here are a few ways to surprise your significant other with a romantic getaway in Miami.
Romance at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
This year, in addition to indulging on Valentine's Day, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is honoring love throughout the entire month of February for National Romance Month. Aside from Valentine's Day offerings at the hotel's signature restaurants, indulge in a variety of romantic activities all month long. From an intimate dinner for two in your own private cabana to chocolate and champagne tastings, Fontainebleau is sure to keep you feeling loved. On February 14, enjoy prix-fixe menus at Scarpetta by Scott Conant and StripSteak by Michael Mina Guests can always end on a sweet note with a stop at Chez Bon Bon for a romance themed treat.
Moonlight & Music at Deering Estate at Cutler
Chloe Dolandis and Alejandro Elizondo will perform a special concert for lovers at Deering Estate at Cutler's Valentine's Day Concert on Feb. 14, 2017 at 8 p.m. Bring a picnic basket and a blanket for a romantic evening outdoors. Tickets start at $25.
Multiple Course Dinner at Brickell City Centre
Big Easy Winebar & Grill by Ernie Els, at Brickell City Centre, is serving a three-course Valentine's Day dinner with modern South African inspired dishes for $160 per couple (excluding tax and gratuity). Dinner features starters such as bison tartare in a smoked oyster emulsion or olive oil poached octopus carpaccio with mache and Peri Peri vinaigrette. Entrees to choose from include double lamb chop with Brussels sprouts - cherry hash, port and blackberry, filet mignon with lobster and curry. Couples can end the night with a decadent double chocolate mousse cake.
Yacht Dinner Aboard The South Beach Lady in Downtown
Set sail from Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami aboard The South Beach Lady, a multi-deck yacht that is sure to showcase drop-dead gorgeous water views all night long. The Valentine's Day Dinner Cruise starts at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. Tickets are $198 per couple.
Elegant Dining at Glass & Vine in Coconut Grove
Glass & Vine, voted "Local Favorite in Coconut Grove" in 2016 by Zagat, is inviting guests to celebrate the day of love with their exclusive Valentine's Day dish for the evening. For $70, couples can enjoy Seafood Fideos (for two) loaded with seafood, broken pasta, fava beans, asparagus and tomato butter.
Celebrate with the Single Crowd at Toro Toro in Downtown
Toro Toro at Miami's InterContinental is getting ready to celebrate Valentine's Day or as many like to call it, Single Awareness Day with their Anti-Valentine "Love on the rocks" cocktail. Whether you want to sweeten up your sweetheart or cheers to the single life, this pomegranate, raspberry vodka cocktail will be a delight to sip on. Toro Toro is offering the cocktail from February 11-14, during bar hours (Sun. - Wed. | 11:30 am - 1 am; Thurs. - Sat. | 11:30 am -2 am) and the best part is it's two for the price of one! In addition, Toro Toro will be hosting a one of a kind, romantic three course dinner for $59 with the option of upgrading to champagne pairing for $35.
