Everglades National Park

For the outdoors lover, the Everglades National Park is an ideal place to be. With over 1,508,537 sq acres, you never have to worry about turning over the same rock twice. While there are a few guided activities like ranger walks and boat tours, the Everglades National Park is a more "hands-off" experience. The park officials encourage you to dive in headfirst and explore. If you're not quite Davy Crockett, there are a number of visitor centers throughout the Everglades National Park with great exhibits as well as all of the "modern conveniences." The other great thing about the everglades is the price. Everything is very inexpensive so you don't have to put a big hole in your checkbook. Overall, the Everglades National Park is great for anyone looking for an adventure low in cost but high in excitement.
