Experience Miami

Fairchild Tropical Gardens

The Fairchild Tropical Gardens is a place where you can take a step back and enjoy the beauty of nature. When you arrive, visit the Jean duPont Shehan Visitor Center where you can start a guided tour or get some basic park information.

The focus of the Fairchild Gardens is the 4,000 colorful and vibrant species of plants including, cycads, ferns, orchids, aroids and bromeliads. Be sure to stop by and see one of the many plant collections such as the new Tropical Fruit Pavilion which features rare fruit trees from Southeast Asia or the Keys Coastal Habitat where a marsh-like ecosystem runs wild with birds, insects and even butterflies.

The experience of the Fairchild Tropical Gardens is surreal and the beauty of the park will take your breath away.
