Greater Miami’s FedEx Orange Bowl is a major college bowl football game in the United States. One of four college bowl games in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS), the FedEx Orange Bowl usually pits the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion against a BCS at-large football team. Through the years, the FedEx Orange Bowl has hosted a number of Heisman Trophy winners and at least one football player destined to become a Super Bowl MVP. The FedEx Orange Bowl is played every January, with the first Orange Bowl college football championship dating back to 1935.

Long held in the Orange Bowl, the historic Miami stadium which was torn down in 2009, the FedEx Orange Bowl moved to Dolphin Stadium in the 1990s.
