International Ballet Festival of Miami

August 28 - September 20, 2010

The International Ballet Festival of Miami is one of South Floridas most heralded cultural events. Considered one of the finest ballet festivals in the U.S., the International Ballet Festival of Miami brings together an international array of ballet dancers every year.

Performances at the Miami International Ballet Festival will feature an evening of contemporary ballet, young ballet medal winners, a classical and neoclassical ballet gala, and the Cuban Ballet Grand Gala. Highlights of the International Ballet Festival of Miami also include dance workshops, ballet master classes, a dance film series and a fine arts competition. The International Ballet Festival of Miami closes with a Grand Marathon of Dance, which features performances by all dance companies participating in the annual dance festival.

The International Ballet Festival of Miami is the creation of Pedro Pablo Pena, founder of the Miami Hispanic Ballet.
