Knight Center has been a premier Downtown Miami meeting and entertainment facility that offers a wide variety of flexible auditorium, lecture hall and theater-style staging and production configurations, as well as a variety of flexible meeting rooms.
Starting with a more intimate space, the Miami Lecture Hall is tiered, with 117 fixed seats with writing desks perfect for training, seminars and other educational programs. In the mid-size range, there’s the Ashe Auditorium, with tiered seating for 444, with fold-away writing arms facing a raised stage that is enabled for advanced teleconferencing with downlink capabilities, multimedia sound technologies and stage lighting. And for large audiences, the main James L. Knight Theater seats up to 5,000 guests and offers unobstructed sight lines with excellent acoustical dynamics as well as 16,000 square feet of staging area for a wide range of events, entertainment and conferences.
Throughout the space, thanks to a major investment in fiber optic wi-fi/internet infrastructure, the facility provides hi-definition video-conferencing while also enabling attendees to use personal devices with lightning-fast connectivity.
In combination with the adjoining Miami Conference Center’s exhibition space, meeting rooms, promenades and the outdoor Riverwalk, as well as the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel, the James L. Knight Center is perfectly suited for a wide variety of event, conference, meeting and convention needs.
