Sales Opportunities:

Sales Missions - The GMCVB conducts national and international sales missions targeting existing and emerging markets to promote Greater Miami and the Beaches as the destination of choice for travel agents and tour operators for travel trade promotion and selling the area for convention, meeting and association executives. Opportunities exist for partners to attend missions with our sales staff.

Trade Shows - Throughout the year Tourism Sales and Convention Sales create special exhibits designed to target key decision makers at important industry trade shows. Opportunities exist for partners to attend trade shows with our sales staff for a discounted price or to send brochures for distribution at the shows.

Sales Leads - Leads from tourism trade shows and sales missions are sent to corporate partners on a regular basis. The Convention Sales Department generates sales leads for partner hotel properties.

Convention Calendar - This online calendar is presents the reported meetings, conventions and trade shows scheduled in the area through the year 2016. Listings include the organization, address, key contact, telephone number, and convention facility or headquarter hotel. The best way to reach meeting planners about prospective business is to send a letter and brochure a year before the booked meeting.

Greater Miami & The Beaches Vacation Planner - This annual guide includes sensational photography, user-friendly maps, and an extensive calendar-of-events section. The popular guide provides informative listings of consumer-oriented GMCVB partners and serves as the primary fulfillment piece in response to advertising. Hard-cover editions of the Vacation Planner are available in guest rooms in 300 hotels within Greater Miami and the Beaches.

Greater Miami & The Beaches Guía de Vacaciones - This soft cover guide is a Spanish-language version of the Vacation Planner. Guía de Vacaciones is geared toward leisure travelers to Greater Miami and the Beaches and provides international visitors with information on dining, shopping, attractions and more. Please note that The Guía de Vacaciones is an online publication only (not available for order), and is ideal for you to expand your reach and target international, Spanish-speaking travelers before they arrive in Miami.

Greater Miami & The Beaches Pocket Guide - This annual publication is a compact version of the Vacation Planner. The Guide includes colorful photography, user-friendly maps and a comprehensive calendar-of-events section. The guide provides informative listings of consumer-oriented GMCVB partners and is distributed to convention and meeting delegates.

Greater Miami & The Beaches Travel Planner - This annual guide, distributed worldwide, provides travel trade professionals with a complete reference to Greater Miami's accommodations, ground services, sightseeing, entertainment and local services.

Greater Miami & The Beaches Meeting Planner - This comprehensive annual guide provides one-stop shopping for meeting, convention and trade show planners. The guide serves as a vital resource that highlights facilities and services to ensure successful meetings. It also serves as a local networking tool for partners.

Talbert Talks Travel - Stay up to date on the latest industry news with our weekly newsletter. Find out about new hotel openings, partner Business Card Exchanges, upcoming meetings and conventions, and scheduled trade shows and sales missions that feature opportunities for partner participation.

Partner Business Card Exchanges - These monthly events provide an opportunity to network among the partnership, display partner collateral and meet GMCVB staff. The events are held throughout Miami-Dade County, showcasing partner hotels, event venues and specialized facilities.
