| AIDS Walk Miami
AIDS Walk Miami is an annual fundraiser for several nonprofit organizations helping people with HIV/AIDS in South Florida. Participants walk, jog or blade their way along the 5k (3.1-mile) AIDS Walk course in Miami Beach to raise money for the fight against AIDS. First held in 1988, AIDS Walk Miami is among the largest such events in the U.S.
Organizations benefiting from AIDS Walk Miami are Care Resource, the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida, Broward House of Fort Lauderdale and the Food for Life Network Food Bank. Together, the agencies serve more than 7,000 people affected by HIV/AIDS in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The goal of AIDS Walk Miami is to raise $100 for each client currently being served.k.

Although registration is free, participating walkers, runners and skaters may qualify for an AIDS Walk Miami T-shirt by raising a specified minimum donation amount.
AIDS Walk Miami Location
AIDS Walk Miami begins and ends at Miami Beach Convention Center, followed by an after-party at Miami Beach Botanical Gardens.
