Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition

With 800,000 visitors a year, the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo counts itself among the top fairs in the U.S. Its also the largest of the Miami areas family attractions. For 18 days in early spring, the Miami-Dade County Fair showcases a wide range of activities and attractions designed to appeal to all ages.

Highlights of the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo include live shows, 100 carnival rides, a petting zoo, several dozen games, food booths, souvenirs and much more. The Miami-Dade County Fair also hosts a cattle show, quilting and fiber arts demonstrations, drama competitions, and a whopping 50,000 student and adult exhibits in a variety of categories. Theres even a Mardi Gras parade throughout the Miami-Dade County fairgrounds every evening.

The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition (called The Fair for short) has welcomed visitors to Southwest Florida since 1952.
