North Shore Open Space Park

The surf is shallow and the sand is fine at North Shore Open Space Park, a popular municipal park located in Miami Beach. A stretch of sand dunes separates the beach at North Shore Open Space Park from a shaded park area filled with sea grapes and other vegetation.

Visitors to North Shore Open Space Park will find a variety of amenities, such as lifeguards, outdoor showers, picnic areas and barbecue grills. North Shore Open Space Park also features hike/bike trails as well as a vita course with exercise stations. Dog-owners are allowed to bring their four-legged companions to North Shore Open Space Park; however, the dogs must remain on leashes and steer clear of the beach.
