With over 120 stores, Southland Mall has something for everyone

From shopping to dining and entertainment, Southland Mall has it all.
Located at the western perimeter of Cutler Bay in South Dade, Southland Mall is conveniently located on US-1 and near the Florida Turnpike. With more than 120 retailers, it’s anchored by Macy’s, JC Penney and Sears department stores. The indoor mall also boasts a Regal Cinemas, LA Fitness and multiple restaurants in addition to a food court. Catering to family shopping fun, Southland has great amenities for kids including a carousel, playground and bounce house.
With so many stores to choose from at Southland Mall, there’s something for every member of your family. Head straight to one of the many affordable department stores, including TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less and K-Mart, where you’ll find everything on your shopping list and more.
The ladies will enjoy shopping for fashionable apparel at Charlotte Russe, G by Guess and Moda Xpress, while the gentlemen can shop for threads at Men’s Wearhouse, Gino’s Boutique and City Gear. Stores like Old Navy and Aeropostale carry apparel for both men and women.
When shopping for kids, head to Baby Elegant, Kids Footlocker and The Children’s Place. There are plenty of options for shoe shopping at Piccadilly, Payless Shoes, Traffic Shoes and Underground by Journeys.
Tech geeks will appreciate Galaxy and GameStop, while Spencer’s Gifts and Things Remembered offers plenty of fun browsing. In addition to Sears, you can shop Ye-Hu Oriental Furnishing for unique home décor.
If it’s something special for the one you love, there’s no shortage of jewelers at Southland Mall, including Zales, Kay Jewelers and Rani Jewelers. For beauty and skincare needs, head to Ulta Beauty, Perfumania and Bath & Body Works. There’s also a nail salon, spa and eyebrow shaping studio.
The best way to make your day at Southland Mall stretch is by enjoying lunch or dinner during your visit. There are plenty of options from the food court to popular sit down restaurants. If you’re pressed for time and hungry, head to the food court with familiar choices like Burger King, Dairy Queen, KFC and Subway. For a taste of Miami, try a Cuban sandwich at Cajio’s Cuban Cuisine.
Put down the shopping bags and give your feet a rest inside the dining rooms of Southland Mall’s collection of restaurants, including Bellina’s Italian Kitchen, Moon Thai, Johnny Rockets, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee’s and Olive Garden. If it’s a sweet treat or a cup of coffee you’re looking for, head to Starbuck’s, Rio Station Juice Bar or Auntie Anne’s Pretzels.
Entertainment & Special Events
What better way to end a day at the mall than at the movies? Head to Regal Cinemas at Southland, order popcorn and a soda, and sit back and relax while watching the latest blockbuster. Of course, don’t deprive the little ones of a ride on the carousel first.
Consult the mall’s calendar for special events during your visit. They regularly hold Festive Fridays at Center Court with face painting and cultural events. They also hold monthly Kid’s Club events on Saturdays with giveaways. If you’re in Miami during the month of March, enjoy special promotions and events during Shop Miami Month.
