A beautifully landscaped outdoor mall, The Falls is fun for the whole family.

Located in the heart of Pinecrest in South Dade, The Falls Mall is a cornerstone of the community for not only shopping, but for family fun, dining and entertainment, as well. The open-air mall features more than 100 stores anchored by Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s with tropical landscaping and a million gallon waterscape as the centerpiece. Shoppers stroll beneath covered walkways and palm trees enjoying Miami’s fresh air while searching for the latest fashions, electronics and accessories finds.

Shopping

With so many stores to choose from, a day at The Falls is fun for the whole family. Teenagers will enjoy shopping at popular young adult fashion stores, like Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Express and the Gap, while young ladies, in particular, will love shopping at Bebe. For more upscale fashions, don’t miss Charming Charlie’s, Michael Kors and White House Black Market.

If it’s accessories you’re after, such as fine leather handbags, head to Brighton and Coach, while all of your jewelry needs will be met at Gold Carat Exchange, Kay Jewelers and Swarovski. There’s also a Victoria’s Secret if you’re in the mood to pick out something slinky. For a new pair of shades or a new prescription, look no further than Sunglass Hut and Lens Crafters.

For the tech geeks in your life, The Falls is home to both an Apple and AT&T store, while Williams-Sonoma covers all of your home goods shopping. For makeup and skincare Bath & Body Works and Origins fits the bill and you can always get a haircut at The Hair Bar and take the little ones to Cartoon Cuts.

You won’t be able to keep the kids away from uber-popular American Girl and Build-A-Bear Workshop, so be prepared. There’s even a Gymboree at The Falls, making it especially accommodating to young families.

Dining

With more than 15 dining options, including sit down and fast casual restaurants, extend your stay to The Falls by enjoying lunch or dinner while you’re there. For a taste of Miami’s Latin side, opt for Sokai Peruvian and Sushi Bar, an upscale option for fresh ceviche, tiradito, potato causas and lomo saltado (stir-fried beef).

Other sit down dining options include familiar restaurants, like PF Chang’s China Bistro, TGI Friday’s and Red Robin, as well as Brio Tuscan Grille for sumptuous Italian and BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse for a gastro-pub experience. There are also cafes inside Macy’s and American Girl.

Fast casual options include CrepeMaker for savory or sweet French crepes and Mojito Grill for grilled steak and Cuban sandwiches. For a sweet treat, swing by TCBY, Mrs. Field’s Cookies, Le Macaron French Pastries or Haagen-Dazs. You can also grab coffee at Starbucks or Pasion de Cielo. There’s even a location of the gourmet grocery store Fresh Market onsite if you’d like to stock your condo or hotel mini fridge.

Entertainment & Special Events

What better way to end a day at the mall than at the movies? Head to The Regal Cinema at The Falls, order a popcorn and soda, and sit back and relax while watching the latest blockbuster.

Consult the mall’s calendar for special events during your visit. Whether it’s pictures with Santa or an Easter egg hunt, The Falls always gets into the spirit during the holidays. Other special events include everything from pet photo nights to special Build-A-Bear Workshop events. If you’re in Miami during the month of March, enjoy special promotions and events during Shop Miami Month.

Whatever brings you to the mall, a visit to The Falls is always enjoyable amidst the beautifully landscaped open-air grounds, so bring the whole family for some serious quality time.
