Redland International Orchid Festival

South Florida’s Redland International Orchid Festival is one of the largest, if not the largest, orchid shows in the United States. Of the more than 60 vendors participating in the Redland International Orchid Festival, many come from outside the country. Highlights of the Redland International Orchid Festival include raffles, walking tours, demonstrations, crafts and lectures about such topics as orchid diseases or orchids for beginners. Orchids and other plants at the Redland International Orchid Festival are available for purchase.

Of particular interest to orchid-lovers is the location of the Redland International Orchid Festival. The annual South Florida orchid festival is held at Fruit & Spice Park, a tropical botanical garden located in an agricultural area known as The Redlands. Also making their home in Greater Miami’s Redland area are several orchid nurseries.

The Redland International Orchid Festival is an American Orchid Society-judged event that made its debut in 1997.

The Redland International Orchid Festival is held every May. The Greater Miami orchid festival is typically scheduled for the weekend following Mother’s Day. An admission fee applies.
