Next time you’re craving a pint of something delicious, try one of these Miami-based breweries for a handcrafted ale that’s sure to cure any long workday.
Tap42 in Aventura, Midtown Miami and Coral Gables
With locations throughout Miami as well as parts more north, you will have no reason not to stop by for a nice cold beer. Tap42 offers a big selection of local Florida beers as well as those select choices from around the country. Their rotating beer list changes daily, so be prepared for something new to try each time you stop by. One recommendation that is always on the menu is the 42 Truths; a tasty Florida pale ale made in collaboration with Funky Buddha Brewery and Tap42 that features northwestern hops, caramel malts and orange peel. LoKal is one special beer bar in Coconut Grove. With a large selection of LoKal beers like the M.I.A. If you’ve ever heard of "that Star Wars bar in Miami," J Wakefield is the place. The Mighty in Coral Gables
Sitting on Coral Way, outside the confines of Coral Gables, The Mighty is a fun pub with a wall filled with 59 bottles of Lambics, Saisons, IPAs, Imperial Stouts and more. Once you are here, you will want to pair your beer with one of the Mighty's specialty sausages. Pick the free-range rabbit over fried leeks with a morel mushroom demi-glacé and side of paprika mashed potatoes for $15 or the pork and smoked bacon with roasted garlic and herbs for only $9.
