On August 8, 2006, Schnebly Redland’s Winery will break ground on a $1.5 million tasting room. The building will be more than 5,000 square feet, including a courtyard that will accommodate more than 250 people. This new structure will overlook the 18-foot high, 120-wide tropical waterfalls which are constructed of natural coral rock that was excavated on the property. A coral bridge hidden amidst the waterfalls will lead guests from the tasting room to the winery where visitors will see the press deck where the fruit becomes juice and the tanks where the juice becomes wine. Next up on the drawing board for Schnebly is the creation of festival grounds on the 10 acres to the north of the winery. For more information visit www.SchneblyWinery.com.
