Creative Services Manager

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Services Manager to provide overall graphic design production and management for the development of Creative Services deliverables for the different GMCVB Divisions, internal stakeholders, and external partners as well as manage the GMCVB’s internal and external library. This includes but is not limited to graphic design, photography, and video. This content is used in all mass media channels including: web, print (ads, outdoor advertising, tradeshow booths & publications), social media, TV etc.

Principal Responsibilities include:

  • Work on site to provide overall art direction and management for the development of Creative Services deliverables.
  • Manage designers, vendors & contractors tasked with creating and developing content.
  • Develop and establish consistency guidelines to produce existing and new content.
  • Manage Creative Services daily internal requests and delegate request to appropriate resources.
  • Develop and manage workflows for the Creative Services team.
  • Liaison with other division members to streamline and ensure a cohesive & unified brand message.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing digital assets by way of the Digital Asset Management tool to allow for efficient use of resources.
  • Ensures content quality control.
  • Tracks progress of projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Source digital assets and secure usage rights for the use in all content.
  • Manage photography and videography for use on website, for partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage and source b-roll for video content.
  • Work with stakeholders and partners to design branded material for Welcome/Visitor Center and other community partnerships.
  • Manage the bid process for collateral material to ensure the cost effectiveness.

Demonstrated Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Success in this position requires interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with customers and team leaders.
  • Undergraduate degree in advertising, graphic design or a related field
  • Five+ years in an advertising/production/graphic design/journalism environment
  • Proficient in the following Apple platform applications: Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Acrobat. Suitcase Fusion
  • Basic Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Bridge
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Apple Computer Troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in workflow management process, computer networking, cloud computing, and virtual meetings (i.e. ASANA, Microsoft SharePoint & OneDrive, and Zoom)
  • Proficient in Graphic design and magazine-style page layout, working with style sheets
  • Experience in Digital Advertising, producing multiple ads in Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Understanding of HTML/website design concepts
  • Friendly telephone manner for frequent interaction with customers and team leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written command of English
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively
  • Good and consistent attendance
  • Demonstrated technical competence
