As part of FIU’s Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week programming, The Wolfsonian is presenting an insightful series of virtual talks honoring Jewish resilience and the memory of those lost in the Holocaust. This diverse series raises awareness on how the arts and its institutions can use their resources to pay homage to the Holocaust and its victims of genocide. The lineup of speakers include FIU Holocaust and Genocide Studies program director Oren Stier, who will share insights from the 2013 Wolfsonian exhibition Race and Visual Culture Under National Socialism; artist Lori Arbel, who will talk about the Marks 4 Their Lives project; and curator Kyra Schuster from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, who will discuss how museums personalize the past.

Co-hosted by Jewish Museum of Florida and Miami Beach Urban Studios.
