Strange Objects, New Solids and Massive Things

6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Free with RSVP

Spend an evening with Winka Dubbeldam, founding partner of the award-winning architecture firm Archi-Tectonics NYC, for a talk about Archi-Tectonics’ latest publication, Strange Objects, New Solids and Massive Things. Rather than a traditional monograph, the book is laid out like manual akin to a Strange Object reflecting the non-standard way the firm’s projects come into being. It surveys 15 years of the firm’s multidisciplinary work with 10 case studies that include the recently completed Asian Games 2022 Eco park and stadiums. Dubbeldam will explore some of these processes, experiments, and works, followed by a discussion with architect Claudia Busch.

After the talk, copies of the publication will be available for purchase at a special signing.
