A lively evening of Latin soul unfolds at Gramps Getaway as Tony & The Kings mark the release of their new 7-inch with a night built for dancing. The Miami-based band, known for its modern take on bugalú and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, debuts “Son Con Soul,” a hook-filled track shaped for call-and-response energy, alongside “Jíbaro,” an Afrobeat-driven tribute to the bandleader’s Puerto Rican roots.
Lula Rios opens the night, setting the tone before DJ Ack Daddy of Tiki Tumbao Records takes over with an all-vinyl set that keeps the groove steady between live performances. The outdoor setting at Key Biscayne’s Gramps Getaway adds to the atmosphere, offering a casual backdrop for a release party centered on movement, melody and community.
