Art Africa Miami Arts Fair Returns to the Historic Clyde Killens Hall in Overtown

The 7th Annual Art Africa Miami Arts Fair returns to re-visit the poignant legacy of this historic area, once called "Colored Town" & "The Harlem of The South", and its heyday of Black progressiveness.  During the Fifties and early Sixties, any given night in Overtown might have included Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, and many more Iconic celebrities.

The Africa Miami Arts Fair aims to highlight the distinctive cultural heritage of Overtown creating an art scene which brings life to some of the venues that were once gems to the community. This year the fair will take place December 4th-9th.
