The 12th anniversary season of JAZZ ROOTS begins with a Latin and British musical mix starring JOSÉ FELICIANO, ARTURO SANDOVAL, LUCY WOODWARD, KATE REID, FANTINE, and SHELLY BERG featuring the HENRY MANCINI INSTITUTE ORCHESTRA. The evening will also serve as a welcome to the new JAZZ ROOTS presenting partner, EFG International. The concert is an exciting twist on British-influenced jazz with new arrangements and orchestrations of The Beatles, Sting and more. Legendary nine-time GRAMMY® Award winner JOSÉ FELICIANO joins this all-star lineup opening the 2019-20 Jazz Roots season. Synonymous with an international presence that has influenced popular music for more than two generations, Feliciano is recognized as the first Latin artist to cross over into the English market. He has been awarded over 45 Gold and Platinum records, earch 19 GRAMMY nominations and won 9 GRAMMY awards, as well as received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kennedy Center.
