From: 08:00 PM to 10:00 PM

On July 17, Faena Theater welcomes powerhouse jazz singer Alicia Olatuja for a spectacular performance at Faena's third annual Summer Jazz Series.

Praised by “The New York Times” as “a singer with a strong and luscious tone and an amiably regal presence on stage,” Alicia Olatuja astounds audiences with her gorgeous voice, artistic versatility and captivating demeanor.

The artist first came into the national spotlight as the featured soloist with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir at President Barack Obama’s second inauguration.

Her most recent album, “Intuition: From The Minds of Women”, celebrates the songs of female composers from Brenda Russell to Tracy Chapman. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, she is one of three featured vocalists on the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s national touring project, Songs of Freedom.
