Travel back in time to the 1930s with The Art of Labor. American artists living through a time of mass unemployment used sculpture and painting to highlight idealized forms of labor which grew out of older traditions and relied on physical strength and manual skills, like growing crops, forging metal, cutting stone, and sewing clothes.

The exhibition will run to August 11, 2019 at The Wolfsonian-FIU. Museum hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Wednesday - closed, Sunday 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. On Fridays, the museum is open from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and is free between 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Nearby garages and metered parking are available.
