Circa39 is an eclectic, globally-inspired boutique hotel in mid-beach

Located in Miami Beach’s mid-beach location, Circa39 is a playful boutique hotel with a lot of character. Named for its cross street at 39th Street and Collins Avenue, it’s the little sister hotel to The Palms Hotel & Spa located just a few blocks south, but with a big personality all its own. As soon as you walk in the doors, you’ll be hit with the memories of all of those childhood dreams you had of travel to distant lands. The first you'll notice is a design that's globally inspired, not just by different cultures and destinations, but also by the actual act of traveling as reflected through African tribal prints, vintage travel posters, photographs from around the world and beachy rattan furniture.

You will feel like you have found your Shangri-la with colors bursting in lime green, citrus orange and sunset pink. It's a cozy lobby featuring a vertical garden wall, plush sofas, bamboo chairs and a pastiche of prints and patterns found in curtains, rugs and accent walls. Keep an eye out for a board just to the side, listing local events and fun things to do as you make your way on your own adventures throughout Miami and Miami Beach.

The lobby runs seamlessly into the small but magical WunderBar, where you will feel like you have discovered the Fountain of Youth. This little gem boasts an inspired cocktail menu with an emphasis on rum. Once you wrap your taste buds around their creative modern twists on classic tiki cocktails like the Mai Tai, mojito and rum punch, you’ll agree that Ponce de Leon’s discoveries do not hold a candle to the treasures you have found here.

Order up a Moonlit Luau, made with Brugal añejo rum from the Dominican Republic mixed with passion fruit, guava, lime juice and bitters. Next on the menu try the Oriental Crush, their version of the Mojito and a personal favorite, where Manuel behind the bar uses Bayou Silver Rum and some kind of magic to transform this typical Miami drink into a very different and very delicious green elixir. The mixologists at this bar know their way around a rum cocktail and your day – and night - will be the better for it.

After a long day of adventuring, stop by for a sweet rum flight and a refreshing coconut water, which you'll want to take back to their other hidden treasure, WunderGarden, to sip under a quiet canopy of green where you can think about all the day’s explorations. For the rum averse, the full bar also boasts cocktails with all spirits and provides a beer and wine menu, as well as tasty bar bites from the hotel’s Jules Kitchen.

      Global Comfort Food

Jules Kitchen dishes up global comfort food to suit any visiting globetrotter’s palate. So what exactly is global comfort food? Think, pulled pork calypso sliders, carne con queso eggrolls and Greek nachos made with pita chips and feta. You can also delight in Caribbean shrimp mofongo, Korean BBQ spare ribs and a Cubano sandwich.

Jules Kitchen – named for Jules Verne of the Extraordinary Voyages - serves brunch all day; and what meal is more comforting than brunch? Dig into the Spanish-style daily frittata, French toast stuffed with Nutella cream and fresh strawberries or a traditional American breakfast with eggs, smoked bacon and potatoes. These inspired dishes will take your palate around the world in the way only the best flavors can.

        Eclectic Guest Rooms

With just 97-rooms, this Miami Beach hotel has the feel of a quaint, traveler’s tropical paradise with an intimate swimming pool, colorful lounge chairs and that secret lush tropical courtyard, WunderGarden. Sun-filled guest rooms retain the same design influences as the lobby. Comfortable beds are piled high with brightly colored pillows set against a lime green headboard and printed accent wall. Eclectic artwork frames a TV above a retro-style wooden bureau, and rooms are shaded with colorful curtains. Bathrooms are spacious, bright and modern in white tile. But don't expect to be staying inside for long as there are places to explore and you don't want to miss any of it. You may even need to book an extra night, it's such a Wunderful place to stay.

Circa39 is a happy home for explorers at heart and every traveler looking for a vibrant, yet intimate hotel in the heart of Miami Beach.
