We remember so much about a place we visit by scrolling through our Instagram profile. Plan your Miami itinerary around some of the city’s most Instagrammable moments, places, backdrops and dishes the city has to offer.

Follow this guide for a breakdown of Miami’s neighborhoods based on the best photo ops in the area. You’ll find more selfie-spots, foodie experiences and scenic moments than you can post, so start planning those #tbt posts to hold you over between visits.

Downtown

Downtown Miami is one of Miami’s fastest changing neighborhoods, making it perfect for social media where what’s new and fresh attract the most attention and engagement. Between the skyscrapers, you’ll find an exciting and stylish blend of shopping, eating and cultural attractions to visit and photograph.

Brickell City Centre

Brickell City Centre looks like the mall of the future. This newly opened luxury mall is the perfect place to stock up on looks for your trip and take a photo amidst the futuristic architecture. Stop into La Centrale or Casa Tua Cucina, the two onsite food halls for a taste of anything from an overflowing plate of pasta to a gelato. You are sure to be able to work their perfectly edible props!

Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)

From the very opening of PAMM, it was clear that this was more than an art museum, the museum itself is a piece of art. Just about everywhere, from the outside of the museum to every gallery space, makes for an amazing photo. The large garden displays in the Sculpture Garden and hanging gardens make for an amazing photo before you even walk into the Herzon & de Meuron designed building.

ALL DAY Coffee Shop

Whether you take your coffee black, with cream and sugar or are more of a tea drinker, you’ll take a photo in this space. ALL DAY is a coffee shop in Downtown that not only makes an amazing cup of single origin pour over coffee but has figured out the formula for the perfect Instagram photo: natural light, high ceilings, a neon sign, thriving plants and a decadent menu of both classics and surprises.

Wynwood

It wasn’t long ago that the Wynwood of today hadn’t yet been born, but then again Instagram wasn’t founded until 2010. The world can change quickly. Today, this artsy neighborhood, defined by the colorful, large-scale murals, is a must-visit for anyone who visits Miami with a camera in hand.

Murals

The Wynwood Walls are a great place to start your exploration of Wynwood’s murals. Home to pieces by some of the biggest names you’ll find represented in the area (like Shepard Fairy and Kenny Scharf), this free open air museum is just the tip of the iceberg of what the neighborhood has to offer. Venture into the side streets and you’ll find blocks and blocks of murals. You’ll have so many photos, we recommend popping into a local cafe to start to edit down on the spot.

Wynwood Building

The Wynwood Building is the perfect place to get a feel for the interesting mix of businesses and creative happenings in the area. You can’t miss the black and white striped paint job – it’s a striking change from the more colorful murals in the area.

J. Wakefield Brewing

Craft beer is wildly popular on Instagram. At J. Wakefield, an independent brewery and taproom, you can sip from one of their 15 taps surrounded by murals from local artists with a touch of Star Wars fan art in the mix.

Design District

The Design District is an upscale area that is grounded in good design. Visitors and influencers can explore what’s in the luxury flagship stores to the tremendous amount of public art and even the artful arrangements of food and drink. All in all, it’s an Instagrammer’s dream.

Le Corbusier (French architect) sculpture in Palm Court by Xavier Veilhan

Public art is everywhere in the Design District, from paintings tucked discretely away to can’t-miss pieces like the enormous sculpture of architect Le Corbusier by Xavier Veilhan. Go for big impact and photograph this larger-than-life, light blue sculpture in the Design District’s Palm Court.

Museum Garage

On Instagram, everything is beautiful, attractive and curated, that’s why the Design District is an Instagram paradise. Here, even the parking garage has been made into something worth photographing and sharing. Stop by Museum Garage, a stunning, quirky corner building that blends style and function.

St. Roch Food Hall

St. Roch Market’s Miami outpost (the original is in New Orleans) is a culinary hotspot where each dish is more beautiful, photogenic and tastier than the last. You’ll have to pick between vendors who sell everything from bahn-mis to vegan cupcakes, fried chicken to sake cocktails.

Miami Beach

ARTECHOUSE Miami

Show your followers something they’ve never seen at ARTECHOUSE, an inventive, interactive exhibit in four dimensions by multimedia artists and choreographers Adrien M & Claire B. Video. Boomerang story your way through this installation where you bring light to life as you walk through the piece.

The Standard Hotel

See and be seen at The Standard Hotel, one of Miami Beach’s many Instagram-famous hotels. You may already recognize the yellow pool chairs and striking view of the bay from the Internet, but you’ll want to experience the chill vibe and ocean breeze for yourself.

The Broken Shaker at The Freehand

The Broken Shaker is a cocktail lounge inside the bohemian The Freehand Hotel and where everything is made with fresh ingredients and the presentation makes it look as good as it tastes. Remember to get your perfect photo before you drink it all!
