Miami Attraction & Museum Months Offers Deep Savings on Admissions, Memberships and More

MIAMI – (March 18, 2019) – Nothing clears your mind and boosts your imagination like a visit to a museum or an exhilarating day well-spent at an attraction, and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is making it effortless for locals and visitors to find free and affordable things to do by organizing Miami Attraction & Museum Months. From April 1st to May 31st, families, couples, groups and culture-seekers are encouraged to experience unique attractions and explore diverse galleries throughout Miami and the Beaches with special discounts and deals.

Miami Attraction & Museum Months is one of the seven promotions presented by the GMCVB’s Miami Temptations Program, including Miami Hotel Months (July- August), Miami Spa Months (July- August), and Miami Spice Months (August- September). Combined, the program allows Miami and the Beaches to tempt locals and visitors from around the world to experience the best that the destination has to offer year-round, with special promotions and free events.

  • Fruit & Spice Park- Showcasing the rich agricultural beauty of the community, this park provides a unique garden display of the tropical fruits and plants over a 37-acre subtropical paradise nestled in the heart of the Redlands. Visitors can buy one admission ticket and receive the second one free when purchased during the two-month promotion.

Free Events During Miami Attraction & Museums Months Include:

  • Judy Chicago: A Reckoning- View the transition from abstraction to figuration that took place in Judy Chicago's work until April 14th at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA). This artist, feminist and educator has exhibited worldwide and has published books in multiple languages touching bases on her art and philosophy.
  • Family Day at The Bass Museum- Join other families for a free family day to enjoy exploration and experimentation through art. Other activities include a design challenge and action guides for gallery exploration. This event takes place on the last Sunday of every month, activities between 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is free to all visitors.
  • First Friday’s at ICA Miami- Celebrate art and performance in the Miami Design District for neighborhood-wide festivities every first Friday of the month featuring film screenings, exhibition tours, performances, and more from 6 p.m. until 10pm.
