Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau Highlights Deals to Make Planning for Miami a Steal

Look no further than Miami as Travelers Celebrate “National Plan for Vacation” Day this year

MIAMI, FL (January 25, 2022) — It’s National Plan for Vacation Day, and only one destination really needs to come to mind: Miami. With events like Miami Beach Live! lighting up the weekends from March 1 – March 29 with live music, art, and food, the reasons to plan a trip to Miami begin piling up quickly. In addition to the exciting Miami Beach Live! lineup, there are dozens of major events and activities coming up including the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami International Boat Show, Coconut Grove Arts Festival, Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival, the Miami Open and Ultra Music Festival. But this year, it’s the deals that really steal the show!

This winter, travelers around the country will be looking to Miami to escape the dreary winter months. These days provide savings for visitors looking to escape to Miami this year. GMCVB has collected dozens of deals across properties throughout Miami, providing different angles to consider for a variety of travelers and trips:

Stay longer: Book three nights to get a fourth free at the Clevelander Hotel or earn bigger discounts with each additional night booked at the Hyde Midtown Miami. The Kimpton Angler’s Hotel South Beach is slashing as much as 30% off rates for longer stays. The message is clear: stay longer, save more.

Staycations for locals: And for residents, consider booking a staycation at the Avalon Hotel to save 10% while The Plymouth and the SBH South Beach are both offering 15% off. Even The Clinton Hotel South Beach is granting discounts, extending their deals to November.

Wellness retreat: Through the month of March, Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club is offering free yoga at their pool while Hotel AKA Brickell is offering $50 spa credits through March 31. The Palms Hotel & Spa is also getting in on the wellness theme with 10% rooms and various spa discounts throughout March.

Cruisers: AC Marriott Miami Midtown is one of many hotels offering deals for those about to embark on a cruise. Or grab the pre-sale package at Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon or take advantage of the perks offered by Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, including transport to the port for your cruise.

Romantic getaway: There’s romance on order at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Miami-Kendall. Some bubbly and chocolate are part of the package available through June. Or take the $100 dining credit offered at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and treat your partner to a memorable meal.

  • Staying longer? Use the “Go Miami Pass” and get up to 55% off at 25 of Miami’s top attractions.
  • Looking for specific experiences? The Miami Temptations Programs offers up 50% off on dining, spas, hotel stays, cultural activities and outdoor experiences during specific months throughout the year.

As Americans plan their next vacation this winter, Miami’s sunshine is exactly what they need.
