Savor Peru’s multicultural cuisine at La Mar by Gastón Acurio, an upscale waterfront eatery located in the luxe Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Brickell Key. As the Miami outpost of Peruvian culinary legend Gaston Acurio, La Mar features new Andean cuisine as well as Asian-Peruvian fusion and traditional classics with an elevated twist.

Start out with 11 enticing ceviche bar dishes and causas (Peruvian potatoes whipped with vegetables like beets or aji and topped with a range of delicacies). The offerings on La Mar’s dinner menu are rounded out by new Andean entrees like picante de langostinos, a shrimp stew cooked in a spicy, creamy sauce spiked with aji amarillo and queso fresco and classics like lomo saltado, a savory stir-fry of tenderloin, red onions, tomatoes, cilantro, fried potato wedges. Lovers of Peruvian chaufa (fried rice) can opt for pan-fried rice with roasted pork, chinese sausage, shrimp omelet, quinoa, egg noodles and pickled vegetables. Prefer to take in a view with your meal? To make the most of the restaurant’s waterfront location, dine on the outdoor terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.

The restaurant’s daily hours of operation are 12:00pm to 3:30pm for lunch and 6:00pm to 11pm for dinner. Brunch is served every Sunday from 12:00pm to 3:30pm.
