Bucky Dent Park

Bucky Dent Park

Greater Miami’s traditionally Cuban neighborhood, Hialeah, is home to Bucky Dent Water Park. It is part of the 25-acre Bucky Dent Park, a recreational park named after Russell Earl "Bucky" Dent, a former Major League Baseball player and manager.

Water Park Features

This quaint water park has plenty of activities for all ages and interests. If visiting with family, grab your kids and race down twin 30-foot-high, 150-foot-long water slides. Want to swim? Take a dip in the zero-entry, six-lane activity pool or take your young kids to the nearby water splash pool. (It’s only nine inches deep!) When it’s time to relax, there are plenty of seating areas and a concession stand with drinks and snacks available for purchase.

Bucky Dent Water Park also hosts a range of activities, from private swim lessons, swim team practices and children’s birthday parties to public swimming hours and water aerobics classes. Select areas are available for rent and can be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Park Entry Information

Bucky Dent Water Park is currently closed due to COVID-19.
