Bill Sadowski Park & Nature Center

`
Whether you’re a star gazer, a nature enthusiast or a bird watcher the Bill Sadowski Park and Nature Center is a small but action packed park in Palmetto Bay. This three habitat park(pineland, tropical hardwood hammock and drained Everglades slough) is home to a live animal exhibit including an 822-gallon freshwater aquarium, a nature trail with canoeing and a native arboretum. This is also the observatory site for the Southern Cross Astronomical Society where there are free star-gazing programs, lectures, and equipment like telescopes.
