Founded in 2002, Cinema Italy is a non-profit organization incorporated in Florida for the sole purpose of promoting Italian cinema and culture outside of Italy. With yearly festivals and screenings in Miami, Atlanta, Pelham, NY and Auburn, AL. The organization has planned and executed more than 30 festival in addition to yearlong monthly free screenings, concerts, art exhibits and more. Held in Miami, it includes short films, documentaries, new films in competition as well as tributes to the great stars of Italian Cinema, cocktails and dinners. With an Opening Cocktail, a Closing Dinner and Award Ceremony, After Parties every night in a different club and a host of other related events you can mark your calendars as October is a full month of entertainment Made in Italy. Each year the Festival presents 10 new unreleased films in Miami Beach in competition for the coveted Best Film Award as judged by the audience.
