Your guide to Miami’s food hall invasion.

The latest culinary craze has swept Miami and a glut of food halls have opened in short order. From Italian to Asian to health food, these food halls are drawing crowds for their diverse, delicious dishes and buzzy atmosphere. Here is your guide to Miami’s best food halls.

La Centrale

La Centrale opened inside Brickell City Centre as Miami’s first Italian food hall. Spanning three floors and 38,000 square-feet, it boasts three formal restaurants, each uniquely dedicated to seafood, meat and seasonal vegetables, which are integrated into dishes highlighting different regions of Italy. The ground floor is home to a marketplace, café and pizzeria, while the top floor boasts a wine shop, enoteca and Venchi gelateria. A piazza-like aperitivo bar on the second floor is the perfect gathering place.

1-800-LUCKY

1-800-LUCKY is a trendy indoor-outdoor Asian food hall in the heart of Wynwood, home to a wide range of fast-casual eateries dishing up dim sum, poke bowls, banh mi, ramen, sushi, pork buns and more. There’s also a cocktail bar and an Instagram-worthy ice cream shop from New York, serving up fish-shaped cones swirling with colorful matcha ice cream and toppings resembling unicorn horns.

St. Roch Market

The fashionable Miami Design District has another reason for shoppers to linger in the neighborhood. St. Roch Market, which hails from New Orleans, is found inside Palm Court with 10 distinct dining options, as well as a cocktail bar, raw bar and coffee shop. Be sure to sample the raw bar at Elysian oysters from the original N’awlins St. Roch, as well as pasta from Dal Plin, fried chicken from Coop and vegan sweets from Chef Chloe.

Lincoln Eatery

Shoppers on Lincoln Road now have more options than ever for a bite to eat while cruising the pedestrian mall. Lincoln Eatery offers a collection of fast and affordable dining options inside a 5,000 square-foot space with plenty of seating. Their lineup of restaurants includes a pizzeria, coffee shop and a healthy café offering fresh salads and bowls.

Treats Food Hall

Aventura Mall upped the ante on the food court concept when they opened Treats Food Hall, featuring a dozen carefully curated eateries on the third floor of the mall’s newly expanded east wing. As one of the nation’s largest shopping malls, there’s always a need for more delicious dining options. Choose from local favorites, like Poke 305, Zuuk Mediterranean Kitchen, GoGo Fresh and My Ceviche. You’ll also find Shake Shack, Chipotle, Luke’s Lobster and Haagen Dazs here.

The Wynwood Yard

The Wynwood Yard could perhaps be considered Miami’s original food hall. Set on a gravel lot in Wynwood occupied by a rotating lineup of food trucks testing out their culinary concepts, it’s become a true community hub and gathering place. Anchored by a central bar, you’ll find everything from tacos to pizza to mac-and-cheese and matcha ice cream. They also host a calendar of events including yoga, concerts and family activities.

Time Out Market

After the success of their inaugural Time Out Market Lisbon, Time Out magazine is looking at South Beach for its next endeavor. With a prime South Beach location near Lincoln Road, Time Out Market Miami will bring a collection of Miami’s top restaurants and bars under one roof. Kush, Coyo Taco and Miami Smokers have already signed on, as well as new concepts by popular local chefs Jose Mendin, Jeremy Ford and Michael Pirolo.

The Citadel

The Citadel is a 60,000 square-foot space designed as part-food hall, part-marketplace and part-workspace in Miami’s Little River area. Housed inside a historic MiMo building from the 1950s, some of Miami’s most popular eateries have already signed on as tenants, including Taquiza, Myumi, Cake Thai and River Oyster Bar. The creative gathering place will also boast a rooftop bar.
