Get ready to eat like kings during Miami Spice, a two-month long restaurant promotion happening every summer.

Each August and September, Miami’s top restaurants offer three-course meals at deep discounts (lunch $23, dinner $39). This is your opportunity to dine around the city, sampling signature dishes created by Miami’s best chefs.

The deal includes an appetizer, main course and dessert, so even those with the most impressive appetites will be tempted to loosen the belt buckle a notch at the table.

It’s easy to search for restaurants based on location. Here are some great Miami Beach restaurants participating in the 2017 edition of Miami Spice.

A Toronto transplant serving fresh and fragrant Eastern Mediterranean fare, strongly influenced by both traditional and local ingredients, Byblos is adjacent to The Royal Palm South Beach hotel. Start your Miami Spice dinner with a choice of two mezzes such as Chicken Kibbeh or Lamb Ribs. Start with two mezzes, such as the chicken kibbeh or the Baby Gem Salad with chickpea falafel, green beans, sabzi green goddess dressing, radish, puffed amaranth and goat cheese.     For French Mediterranean atmosphere and cuisine, Bagatelle Miami is the perfect place to check out during Miami Spice. An appetizer of Scottish Salmon Tartar, with green apple, yuzu soy vinaigrette, oak leaf lettuce, salmon roe, chili oil is a wonderful start to the meal.       Straightforward and authentic Spanish tapas are served in a casual-chic setting on the third floor at the new Hyatt Centric hotel at DECK sixteen restaurant. This is menu of small plates is best when you divide and conquer. Don’t skip they’re expertly sourced charcuterie and cheese plates. Opt for the fresh caught fish with capers, oregano and garlic, the chorizo served with potatoes in an aji amarillo aioli and the grass fed hangar steak. 1600 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139

        The Continental

        Prolific Philadelphia-based restaurateur Stephen Starr opened an outpost of The Continental (the original recently celebrated its 20th anniversary in Philly) at the new Aloft hotel in South Beach. Dishing up global fare and creative cocktails in a Space Age, mid-century diner setting, The Continental joins Starr’s other Miami restaurants, including Makoto and Le Zoo. The menu is eclectic and expansive, mashing up an assortment of favorite flavors to create one-of-a-kind dishes, like the cheesesteak eggroll or the foie gras and pancakes. 2360 Collins Ave., Miami, FL 33139

          La Moderna

          Joining the restaurant lineup in South Beach’s trendiest neighborhood, Sunset Harbour, La Moderna is serving Roman pizza and pastas dishes in a chic, yet casual setting. Start with the artichoke salad sprinkled with pomegranate seeds and parmesan and then move straight to the San Daniele pizza with tomato, buffalo mozzarella and aged prosciutto.             A breezy, white-washed indoor-outdoor dining room at 1 Hotels South Beach, Beachcraft is home to Top Chef host Tom Colicchio’s first Miami restaurant with a focus on fresh, sustainable and local ingredients. It’s all about seafood here, so opt for the turbot with baby turnips, English peas and a black garlic puree or the cobia with heirloom tomatos. Pasta dishes also have a taste of the sea with bucatini served with sea urchin, peekytoe crab, scallion and jalapeno or the white bean agnolotti with clams, pork shoulder and chili. 2395 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139

              Los Fuegos by Francis Mallman

              The Faena Hotel Miami Beach is easily the most buzzed about hotel opening of the year and a big part of that is because of its red hot dining scene—literally. Los Fuegos (which means the fire) is the first North American outpost by legendary Argentinean chef and asado grill master Francis Mallmann. Cascading in lush red and tiger print, the gold-flecked dining room is all luxury. There’s also a spacious outdoor patio and bar where the chef literally cooks with flames in an open kitchen.                 A hotspot inside The Confidante Hotel, Talde is the brainchild of Top Chef contestant Dale Talde. With a high-style, yet casual vibe, a late night noodle happy hour and a propensity for throw fun-loving (and affordable) weekend brunch parties to the tune of a live DJ, it’s swiftly becoming one of the beach’s best. And that’s to say nothing of the pan-Asian food, which is positively mouthwatering. You can’t go wrong with the addictive Korean fried chicken, crab fried rice, pork wonton ramen noodles, Vietnamese garlic shrimp and tater tots with sriracha ketchup. 4041 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140


                  Curated both by Executive Chef Mathias Gervais and Executive Sous-Chef Vijay Veena, Jaya’s Miami Spice menu brings together specialties from Southeast and Northern Asian Cultures.
