Miami Spa Month: July 1- August 31

Spend some time relaxing this summer and take advantage of deals on spa treatments throughout Miami Spa Month. Luxurious spas across the city are cutting prices on signature services throughout the months of July and August.

HistoryMiami Presents Hurricane Andrew: 25 Years Later: July 1 – January 2018

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the day that Hurricane Andrew made landfall in South Florida. At the time, “The Big One,” as the storm came to be known, was the most destructive hurricane in U.S. history. HistoryMiami Museum is recognizing this seminal moment through a 5,000-square-foot exhibition that chronicles the story of the hurricane from its formation to its legacy.

Routes of Influence at Pérez Art Museum Miami: July 1-18

Visit Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for an exhibition entitled “Routes of Influence". You’ll discover six thematic presentations of works inspired by Miami’s position as a hub of diverse flows of people, ideas, and art histories. This exhibition juxtaposes artworks in a manner that maps how aesthetic concepts move fluidly across traditional, national or cultural lines and how “influence” in art is understood today as multi-directional, rather than linear in character.

International Mango Festival: July 1-2

Experience the world’s largest display of mangoes at Fairchild Tropical Garden’s 25th Annual International Mango Festival. Activities include tastings, lectures, food demonstrations, children’s activities and the opportunity to explore Mangoville, a marketplace where you will find everything mango – art, gifts, food and more. Admission is free for members and $25 for non-members.

America’s Birthday Bash: July 4

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than by watching one of the largest fireworks displays in South Florida at America’s Birthday Bash. In Downtown, the fun starts at Bayfront Park at 2 p.m. when the Budweiser Beer Garden opens, and will include a free Kids’ Zone and plenty food and music. Metallica Concert at Hard Rock Stadium: July 7

Metallica brings its "Worldwired 2017" tour to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens at 6 p.m. on July 7. The heavy metal band has won eight Grammy Awards and Rolling Stone ranked them as one of The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Ticket prices vary.

MLB All-Star Week: July 7-11

Major League Baseball is kicking off a series of fan-centric events in Miami leading up to the 2017 All-Star Game on July 11 at Marlins Park. MLB All-Star Week will feature a 5k hosted by Nike and a special Zumba class at Bayfront Park, opportunities to meet baseball legends and get signed autographs, plus the MLB All-Star Game T-Mobile Home Run Derby.

MUCE Summer Series Art Talks in Little Haiti: July 8

Join the Miami Urban Contemporary Experience (MUCE) on July 8 at Chef Creole Performance Park in Little Haiti for an intercultural exchange featuring food, visual art, live jazz and Afro Soul performances, plenty of intriguing conversations, and films curated by Dudley Alexis, a fixture of Miami’s visual arts community and producer of “Liberty in a Soup”. The theme of the presentation is diversifying the artistic landscape of the western world.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts: July 12 – August 6

Visit the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami Dade County in Downtown for a performance of SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW, a critically-acclaimed and timeless theatrical spectacle often described as a cross between Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group. Ticket prices and show times vary.

Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theater in Coral Gables: July 12 - August 13

In “Finding Mona Lisa,” award-winning playwright Michael McKeever explores the history of the world’s most famous painting, including Leonardo da Vinci’s meeting of Senora del Giocondo (Mona Lisa) and his masterful creation of her indelible countenance. Tickets for the show at Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theater start at $40 per person.

Overtown Music and Arts Festival: July 15

The Overtown Music and Arts Festival celebrates economic development and community enrichment in the historic Overtown district of Miami. Enjoy a stellar line-up of live music artists and activities for all ages. The festival will include vendors showcasing artwork, ethnic cuisine, unique crafts, jewelry and a vast array of entertainment. The event is free.

Funkshion Swim: Fashion Week Miami Beach: July 20-23

Check out the latest swim styles and emerging designers at the Funkshion Swim Show 2017. Funkshion events offer a distinct blend of cutting edge fashion with live entertainment that make their shows a high energy and unique experience. Events kick off on Thursday, July 20 at Nautilus, A SIXTY Hotel and continue through the weekend at various locations on South Beach.

Miami Swim Week: July 20-25

Turning heads and turning out trends for more than three decades, SwimShow 2017 will showcase the finest swim and resort wear from across the globe. This one-of-a-kind tradeshow at the Miami Beach Convention Center offers exclusive access to the latest trends.

Summer Butterfly Walk at Deering Estate: July 23

Wander through a tropical wonderland at the Deering Estate, an environmental, archaeological and historical preserve located along the edge of Biscayne Bay, and view rarely seen species of colorful butterflies. The Summer Butterfly Walk is happening on July 22 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for children.

El Clásico Miami: July 26-29

Part of the International Champions Cup, a premier summer soccer tournament organized by Relevent Sports, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will face off at Hard Rock Stadium on July 29. And leading up to the main El Clásico event, there will be a variety of sporting events and parties, including “Combate Clásico,” a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) live television event in Wynwood on Thursday, July 27. As the Official Hotel of El Clásico Miami, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is offering a four-night travel package filled with exclusive invitations to parties, concerts, events and tickets.

Cirque du Soleil OVO: July 28-30

See Cirque du Soleil’s OVO, a high-energy performance comprised of 50 acrobatic artists from 12 countries at AmericanAirlines Arena. One highlight of OVO is the stunning flying act in which a group of scarabs soar high above the stage, from both edges to the middle landing on a platform. Ticket prices vary.

USA Weightlifting American Open Series: July 28-31

The USA Weightlifting American Open Series will take place at the Miccosukee Casino & Resort from July 28-31, 2017, immediately following the Pan American Championships.
