Fall is in full swing with lots of live entertainment and shows during Miami Live Month. And don’t miss annual favorites like the auto show, book fair and more.
Miami Live Month: Nov. 1-30
During the entire month of November, Miami Live Month features special access to concerts, dance performances, comedy shows, poetry readings and lots of live entertainment.
Festival Miami: Oct. 23-Nov. 6
Experience more than 25 live concert performances by international artists at Festival Miami hosted by the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.
Miami Short Film Festival: Nov. 2-7
The 14th annual Miami Short Film Festival will feature movies under 20 minutes in length with screenings in Coconut Grove and Miami Beach.
Miami International Auto Show: Nov. 6-15
Come check out some of the hottest new cars as well as nostalgic classics at the annual Miami International Auto Show held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Tickets start at $15 per person.
TigerDirect Tech Bash: Nov. 6
Calling all technology aficionados! The 4th annual TigerDirect Tech Bash brings together IT experts, students and business execs for a consumer technology conference at Marlin’s Park. For a limited time, general admission tickets are free. Early access tickets start at $20 per person.
iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina: Nov. 7
The world’s best Latin music artists are gathering at AmericanAirlines Arena for the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina concert at 8 pm. on Nov. 7. Expect performances by Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and more. Tickets are available on TicketMaster.com.
France Cinema Floride: Nov. 6-8
Practice your French linguistic skills during the France Cinema Floride film festival at the Tower Theater.
The Great Grove Bed Race: Nov. 7-8
Held every year on the streets of Coconut Grove, The Great Grove Bed Race is a competition where teams build hot rods made out of beds and race to the finish line wearing costumes. It’s always an entertaining event that draws quite the crowd.
Ultimate Beach Frisbee: Nov. 7-8
More than 1,000 participants will head to Haulover Park for Ultimate Beach Frisbee.
South Miami Art Festival: Nov. 7-8
Hosted by Chamber South, the 44th annual South Miami Art Festival is scheduled to take place along Sunset Drive between U.S. Highway 1 and SW 57th Avenue. Admission is free.
South Florida Dragon Boat Festival: Nov. 8
Held at Haulover Beach Park Marina, the one-day South Florida Dragon Boat Festival will include the infamous dragon boat race that Kim Kardashian and her crew competed in previously for her reality show. Team registration starts at $300 and up.
Coral Gables Food Wine & Spirits Festival: Nov 9-15
The Coral Gables Food Wine & Spirits Festival is week-long soiree featuring your chance to try some of the most delectable restaurants throughout Coral Gables. Tickets vary depending on the event and start at $39 per person.
Veterans Day Parade: Nov. 11
The City of Miami Beach will host their annual Veteran’s Day Parade along Washington Avenue from 11 to 17 Streets.
The Choreographers Ball: Nov. 14
Get a feel for Miami’s most talented choreographers and dancers at the annual Choreographers Ball at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, hosted by the Developing Dreams Foundation.
Downtown Miami Riverwalk Festival and Boat Parade: Nov. 14
Enjoy art by local art and cultural vendors as well as children’s activities at the Downtown Miami Riverwalk Festival and Boat Parade. Admission is free and open to the public.
Miami Book Fair International: Nov. 15-22
Celebrating authors, books, prose and poetry, the Miami Book Fair International returns for its 32nd edition in Downtown. Admission to the street fair is free on Friday, Nov. 21. On Nov. 22 and 23 admission is $5 for adults; children 12 and under are free.
The Seed Food & Wine Festival: Nov. 18-22
The first plant-based food and wine festival in the country, The Seed Food & Wine Festival, presented by Whole Foods is hosting special events throughout the city. Highlights include The Burger Battle, where America’s best veggie burger will be crowned as well as the Mantra Yoga Brunch. Prices vary depending on the event.
Recent Cinema from Spain: Nov. 19-22
Now in it’s 5th edition, the Recent Cinema From Spain film festival will be held at the Olympia Theater in Downtown Miami. Enjoy screenings of six of Spain’s most recognized movies of the year.
NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend: Nov. 20-22
Rev up your engines for the NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Tickets start at $55 per person.
Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest: Nov. 21
The 8th annual Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest will feature notable jazz artists like Shenita Hunt, Maryel Epps, Carole Ann Taylor and Liane Lyons at Heritage Park. Additionally, Acqualina Resort and Trump International Beach Resort are hosting special dinners surrounding the event. General admission to the festival is $15 per person; VIP is $50.
Mad Hatter Arts Festival: Nov. 21-22
Head to the Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove for the 11th annual Mad Hatter Arts Festival featuring a vintage artisan marketplace and a participatory drum circle. There will also be a screening of the classic movie, Alice in Wonderland at 7 p.m. on Sat. Nov. 21 (movie tickets are $5 per person).
Miami Reggae Festival: Nov. 22
Enjoy live music from local and international artists during the Miami Reggae Festival at La Covacha.
Thanksgiving: Nov. 26

White Party Week: Nov. 26-30
Thousands flock to Miami for a week of nonstop entertainment and fundraisers for the fight against HIV/AIDS during the annual White Party Week. Parties are scheduled for various locations throughout the city.
Hoophall Miami Invitational: Nov. 27
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of fame is hosting the first ever Hoophall Miami Invitational at AmericanAirlines Arena. The double header will feature matches between Kentucky vs. South Florida, as well as Ohio State vs. Memphis. Tickets are available on TicketMaster.com.
Melissa Etheridge Concert: Nov. 28
Two-time Grammy winner, Melissa Etheridge is scheduled to perform at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach as part of the BleauLive concert series. Tickets to the concert are available to guests of the Fontainebleau and packages start at $279 per night, including two tickets.
Santa’s Enchanted Forest: Nov. 1 - Jan. 3
The largest holiday theme park in the world, Santa’s Enchanted Forest is happening at Tropical Park. Enjoy more than three million Christmas lights, carnival rides, shows, games and a 92-foot tall Christmas tree.
