Fall is in full swing with lots of live entertainment and shows during Miami Live Arts Month plus live music, food and wine events, art festivals and more.
Miami Live Month: Nov. 1-30
During the entire month of November, Miami Live Arts Month features special access to concerts, dance performances, comedy shows, poetry readings and lots of live entertainment.
The Seed Food & Wine Festival: Nov. 2-6
The first plant-based food and wine festival in the country, The Seed Food & Wine Festival, presented by Whole Foods is hosting special events throughout the city. Highlights include The Burger Battle, where America’s best veggie burger will be crowned as well as the Mantra Yoga Brunch. Prices vary depending on the event.
Late Night at the New World Symphony: Nov. 4
Pulse: Late Night at the New World Symphony will take place on Friday, November 4 from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Guest performers include South Florida’s very own DJ Le Spam and the Spam Allstars and Mezzo-Soprano Mabel Ledo. Tickets start at $45 per person.
South Miami Art Festival: Nov. 4-6
Hosted by Chamber South, the annual South Miami Art Festival is scheduled to take place along Sunset Drive between U.S. Highway 1 and SW 57th Avenue. Admission is free.
France Cinema Floride: Nov. 4-6
Practice your French linguistic skills and enjoy a foreign flick or two during the France Cinema Floride film festival at the Tower Theater.
iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina: Nov. 5
The world’s best Latin music artists are gathering at AmericanAirlines Arena for the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina concert at 8 pm. on Nov. 5. Expect performances by Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Juanes and more.
Veterans Day Parade: Nov. 11
The City of Miami Beach will host their annual Veteran’s Day Parade along Washington Avenue from 11 to 17 Streets.
Coral Gables Food Wine & Spirits Festival: Nov 11-12
The Coral Gables Food Wine & Spirits Festival is week-long soiree featuring your chance to try some of the most delectable restaurants throughout Coral Gables. Tickets vary depending on the event and start at $69 per person.
Downtown Miami Riverwalk Festival and Boat Parade: Nov. 12
Enjoy art by local art and cultural vendors as well as children’s activities at the Downtown Miami Riverwalk Festival and Boat Parade. Admission is free and open to the public.
Ultimate Beach Frisbee: Nov. 12-13
More than 1,000 participants will head to Haulover Park on Miami Beach for the annual Miami Vice Beach Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. Cost is $400 for the first 10 players, then $40 for each additional player.
Miami Book Fair International: Nov. 13-20
Celebrating authors, books, prose and poetry, the Miami Book Fair International returns for its 32nd edition in Downtown. Admission to the street fair is free on Friday, Nov. 18. On Nov. 19 and 20 admission is $5 for adults; children 12 and under are free.
Miami Short Film Festival: Nov. 14-19
The annual Miami Short Film Festival will feature movies under 20 minutes in length with screenings in Coconut Grove and Miami Beach.
Recent Cinema from Spain: Nov. 17-20
Now in it’s 6th edition, the Recent Cinema From Spain film festival will be held at the Olympia Theater in Downtown Miami. Enjoy screenings of six of Spain’s most recognized movies of the year.
NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend: Nov. 18-20
Rev up your engines for the NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Tickets start at $65 per person.
Afrikin Fest: Nov. 18-20
Celebrate culture and history and enjoy live music from local and international artists during Afrikin Fest. Notable guest speakers like Mutabaruka, Dr. Sonia Sanchez, and Dr. Gregory Tate will inform and enlighten festival goers during the daytime educational talks, while live music will fill the air at night. Tickets start at $10 per person.
Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest: Nov. 19
The annual Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest will feature notable jazz artists like Michael Lington, Doug Walker, Lourdes Valentin and more at Heritage Park. General admission is free and VIP is $50 per person.
Mad Hatter Arts Festival: Nov. 19-20
Head to the Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove for the annual Mad Hatter Arts Festival featuring a vintage artisan marketplace and a participatory drum circle. There will also be a screening of the classic movie, Alice in Wonderland at 7 p.m. on Sat. Nov. 19.
White Party Week: Nov. 23-28
Thousands flock to Miami for a week of nonstop entertainment and fundraisers for the fight against HIV/AIDS during the annual White Party Week. Parties are scheduled for various locations throughout the city.
Thanksgiving: Nov. 24

Santa’s Enchanted Forest: Nov. 3 - Jan. 8
The largest holiday theme park in the world, Santa’s Enchanted Forest is happening at Tropical Park. Enjoy more than three million Christmas lights, carnival rides, shows, games and a 92-foot tall Christmas tree.
