Miami Spice: Aug. 1 - Sept. 30
Calling all foodies! Miami Spice is an annual showcase of Miami’s hip culinary scene. Enjoy three-course, prix-fixe menus prepared by Miami’s hottest chefs at the best restaurants in the city for a great price (brunch $23, lunch $23 and dinner $39). Check out these great restaurants.
International Ballet Festival of Miami: Aug. 26 - Sept. 15
Taking place at multiple venues across Miami, the International Ballet Festival will showcase performing arts by more than 20 ballet companies from around the world and more than 200 dancers. Ticket prices vary depending on the event.
Goo Goo Dolls with Phillip Phillips Concert: Sept 1
Head to Bayfront Park Amphitheater in Downtown for the Goo Goo Dolls “Long Way Home” summer tour with special guest Phillip Phillips. Ticket prices vary.
Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show: Sept. 1-4
Learn everything you need to know about starting your next home improvement project at the largest home design show in the south. The Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center and tickets start at $10 per person.
Bryan Adams Concert: Sept 8
Bryan Adams will be performing his “Get Up!” tour at Bayfront Park Amphitheater in Downtown. Ticket prices vary.
Children’s Trust Family Expo: Sept. 9
Bring out the entire family for the Children’s Trust Family Expo at the Miami Dade Fair grounds. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, performances, face painting and more family-friendly activities. The event is Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free for all attendees.
ArtsLaunch2017: Sept. 9
At the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Miami, enjoy a day of free events during ArtsLaunch2017. More than 40 shows will be on sale and if you buy tickets in person, no ticket handling charges will apply. There will be a silent disco, walking tours, mixology chef demos, kids activities and more.
Miami International Auto Show: Sept. 9-17
Head to the Miami Beach Convention Center for the annual Miami International Auto Show. Check out the latest models of cars, trucks and SUVs from more than 40 of the world’s top auto manufacturers. Tickets are $15 per person.
Miami Web Fest: Sept. 14-17
The annual Miami Web Fest is a four-day festival showcasing the hottest new web series content from around the world. It’s an opportunity to see independently produced shows before they are discovered by big television networks and media entities such as Netﬂix. Ticket prices vary.
Brazilian Film Festival: Sept. 17-24
For a colorful dose of Brazilian culture on the big screen, check out the annual Brazilian Film Festival. The 21st edition of the festival features a collection of short and featured films. Opening night at New World Center’s SoundScape Park on Sept. 16 will feature a free admission screening of “João, o maestro” (2017) by Director Mauro Lima about João Carlos Martins, a Brazilian pianist and orchestra conductor, celebrated as one of the greatest interpreters of Bach.
Miami Fashion Film Festival: Sept. 21-24
Take a creative look at the fashion industry through screenings of documentaries, short films and fashion movie classics at the Miami Fashion Film Festival at the Miami Beach Cinematheque on Washington Avenue. Ticket prices TBD.
HistoryMiami Cruise: Sept. 30
Cruise along Biscayne Bay and explore the history of hurricanes with HistoryMiami Museum guide Eliana Larrauri. Hear tales of South Florida’s stormy past – including the Great Miami Hurricane and Hurricane Andrew, two of the most destructive hurricanes in South Florida history. See the remaining houses of Stiltsville, which were largely swept away by these natural disasters. The tour leaves from Dinner Key Marina in Coconut Grove and tickets are $60 for adults and $25 for children (members get additional discounts).
