From action-packed Winter Party Festival in March, to the never-to-be-missed White Party near the end of the year, Miami hosts some of the hottest gay-friendly events in the country.
Gay8 is a free Latino LGBT art, music and food street festival in Miami. This annual one-day festival takes place in January, and blends all of South Florida’s delights into one gigantic party in the heart of Miami’s historic Little Havana. In its first year, 2016, over 17,000 were in attendance.
Join more than 10,000 party-goers from around the world for an action-packed six day party featuring celebrity DJ performances, swanky cocktail receptions and the hottest hotel pool parties on the planet. The event culminates with a non-stop dance party on the beach. Proceeds benefit the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force and local LGBT organizations.
Experience a strong dose of Miami’s vibrant art and culture scene at this exclusive film festival held each spring. Enrich your understanding and perspective of the LGBT community through on-screen presentations, documentaries and movies. More than 65 screenings and events take place on South Beach and satellite locations across the city.
Show your support for Miami’s colorful LGBT community at the annual Gay Pride Festival held each spring. Join tens of thousands of community members, civic leaders, business owners and supporters for a big and bold celebration held on infamous Ocean Drive on South Beach.
A fun-filled event designed especially for the ladies, Aqua Girl is a week-long celebration of women, wellness and equality. Enjoy dance parties, live music, comedy shows, dining events and a VIP reception. Proceeds benefit the Aqua Foundation and go towards scholarships and grants promoting the LGBT community.
With the sizzling hot Miami beaches as a back drop, this five-day festival is where the world’s party-seekers come to celebrate life and pride. Sizzle is predominately attended by black males, but everyone 21 and over is welcome to join in on the high-energy fun.
The World OutGames Miami 2017 makes its way to Florida in May, and the entire Miami community is excited to host the 10-day festival, featuring more than 450 sporting, cultural and human rights events. Hosted from May 26 to June 4, 2017, the event will kick-off in style with an opening ceremony at Lummus Park, which will be transformed into the “Festival Village” for the duration of the games and will feature performances by A-list entertainers and international artists.
Artists from around the world take the stage at Out in the Tropics, South Florida’s first LGBT contemporary performing arts festival. Expect a combination of comedy, circus arts, Cuban theater and much more.
A blockbuster lifestyle event happening each summer, Miami Beach Bruthaz (MBB) is a culturally diverse celebration. The weekend revolves around three themes: knowledge, culture and fashion. Events include a white masquerade party, hip-hop lover’s jam, rooftop soiree, signature Bruthaz SpeakUP event, fashion shows and one of the hottest Brazilian parties on the beach. Everyone is invited regardless of race, gender, sexual preference or orientation.
Free and open to the public, Celebrate Orgullo is a one-day festival showcasing Hispanic LGBT pride and featuring music, dance, refreshments, vendor booths and more. A portion of proceeds from the sale of food and beverages will benefit the LGBT Scholarship Fund.
An unparalleled week of fundraising parties and events culminates with the legendary White Party. Now more than 25 years old, White Party has been the preeminent never-to-be-missed LGBT event of the season. More than 15,000 party-goers enjoy six days and nights of nonstop entertainment, all while raising awareness of the fight against HIV/AIDS.
