If you’ve come to Greater Miami and Miami Beach to shop, you’re in for a treat. A treasure trove of both high-end luxury and budget-friendly shopping experiences await. From classic street shopping to a neighborhood born of luxury flagship boutiques, there’s plenty to tempt the shopper in all of us. These destinations provide a fun day of recreation along with fabulous dining, entertainment and cultural activities. Here’s some inspiration for your dream Miami shopping spree.

Bal Harbour Shops
With lush, tropical palms, limestone walkways, koi ponds and art installations, Bal Harbour Shops is home to every designer flagship under the sun. Part of Miami’s cultural fabric since 1965, it’s anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. You’ll also find Chanel, Prada, Valentino, Versace, Van Cleef & Arpels and much more. For a shopping break, Makoto is the perennial favorite for upscale Japanese in a chic setting. As Miami’s most luxurious and iconic outdoor mall, it’s a must-visit for aspirational window shoppers or those inclined to make a serious splurge.

Miami Design District
The Miami Design District is the new go-to for luxury designer flagships, from Celine to Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Hermès and more. Set amidst dazzling contemporary architecture and public art installations and galleries, it’s a thoroughly contemporary shopping experience. You’ll also find the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, a museum where admission is always free. The area’s original lunchtime shopping break Michael's Genuine® Food & Drink is still a mainstay, while newcomers, like Cote Miami and Mother Wolf, have added to the neighborhood’s reputation as a top dining destination.

Aventura Mall
Home to over 300 retailers, Aventura Mall is the largest in Florida with major department stores like Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Macy’s. You’ll also find luxury boutiques like Fendi, Dior, Balmain and Tiffany and Co. alongside more budget-friendly options, such as J. Crew, American Eagle Outfitters and Zara. When it comes to dining, Aventura recently debuted an outpost of the celebrated Italian food hall, Eataly. Aventura is a particularly family-friendly shopping destination with an AMC Movie Theatre with IMAX and an interactive, artist-designed playground.

Lincoln Road Shopping District
There’s no shopping street in South Beach more iconic than Lincoln Road Shopping District. Running east to west from the Atlantic Ocean to Biscayne Bay, this pedestrian mall was originally designed by MiMo master, Morris Lapidus. It’s lined with shops, art galleries and cafes perfect for people- watching. Here, you’ll find fantastic retailers, including Suit Supply, Luli Fama, Apple Store, Brandy Melville and Lululemon. Take a shopping break at one of the many cafes that line the street, from Havana 1957 to Oh! Mexico.

Brickell City Centre
Brickell City Centre is an open-air shopping center with a modern, state-of-the-art design in the heart of Brickell. Anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, it’s home to retailers including Maje, Sandro, Reiss, Swarovski and Diptyque Paris. There’s also a CMX luxury movie theater and ample dining options, from the Casa Tua Cocina Italian food hall to Pubbelly Sushi, and upscale South American eatery Quinto at the on-site EAST, Miami Hotel.

Dadeland Mall
Spanning 1.5 million square feet, Dadeland Mall is a massive shopping center that can feel like a city unto itself. You’ll find department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and JCPenney alongside retailers including Aritzia, Free People, Gucci, Boss and more. It’s home to Florida’s largest Macy’s, as well as a Macy’s Children and Home store. With restaurants like Aoki Teppanyaki, Texas de Brazil and Earls Kitchen + Bar, Dadeland is also a prime dining destination in South Dade.
Shops at Merrick Park
The Shops at Merrick Park is an upscale outdoor shopping center in lush Coral Gables. Named for George E. Merrick, the mastermind behind the “City Beautiful,” Merrick Park is home to over 100 shops and restaurants on 3 levels with tropical gardens and fountains surrounding a central courtyard. The setting is peaceful, beautiful and decidedly chic. Anchored by Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, it’s also home to boutiques, from CH Carolina Herrera to Vix Paula Hermanny and Tiffany & Co. Take time out for lunch and a glass of wine at Sea Grill or a craft beer at Yard House.

Bayside Marketplace
Overlooking Biscayne Bay and surrounded by the dramatic Downtown Miami cityscape, Bayside Marketplace blends waterfront shopping with pleasure. Here, you’ll find Bayside-branded gift shops, independent boutiques and familiar brands, from Claire’s to Foot Locker and Victoria’s Secret, in an inviting, al fresco atmosphere. Bayside is also the embarkation point for Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures and Island Queen Cruises and Tours, plus the Skyviews Miami observation wheel climbing 180 feet above it all. When hunger strikes, take a break at the Hard Rock Café or Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory.

CityPlace Doral
An afternoon at CityPlace Doral might include bowling at Kings, movies at CMX CinéBistro or standup at the Miami Improv Comedy Club. It’s a wonderful al fresco shopping and entertainment complex with a spectacular show fountain surrounded by shops like Ella Boutique, Petricor and Magnolia. You’ll also find great restaurants like Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen, Tap 42 and Novecento.
CocoWalk
In Coconut Grove, CocoWalk is a fantastic venue for open-air shopping, dining and entertainment.
