Circuit Parties over Thanksgiving weekend have been a Miami Beach institution for decades and 2019 will be no different! Circuit Festival Miami will take over this year bringing the “biggest international gay event” back to Miami. World-renowned DJs, will team up with producers Matinee (who have been producing Circuit Festival in Barcelona since 2008) and Miami’s own Urge, and to produce the “weekend” event that kicks off Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 28) and wraps up during the wee morning hours of Tuesday, December 3.

Circuit Festival promises to be the “ultimate gay dance festival getaway” with parties happening all over Miami and Miami Beach. According to Luis Morera, one of the producers of Circuit Festival Miami,: “Dance music was born in LGBTQ communities, but the circuit party is where it truly lives. Partygoers convene from around the world to bond spiritually, socially and musically— and it is one of the most unique phenomena to emerge from queer communities over the past few decades. This huge call to people across the globe is a large show of queer visibility, and that is the beginning of acceptance.” He went on to say that “Circuit Festival Miami parties are all about good music, great times, and amazing people! The ultimate goal is to leave our fans with a feeling that they have bonded with people in their community that are just like them. We want to bring like-minded people together and give attendees a space to shed social expectations, where they can be nobody but themselves.”

Much of the action will center around the Dream South Beach, which will serve as the host hotel for the weekend. This completely restored boutique hotel is just steps from the sand in Miami Beach and smack dab in the middle of the city’s gay scene with the 12thth Street “gay” beach, Twist and Palace being just around the corner. Partygoers can book an exclusive rate through Circuit Festival, but beware - book early, because with only 108 rooms, they’re going fast!

In typical Miami fashion, the parties will last all day and all night so get ready to dance till the sun rises. The weekend will host a total of nine parties with three happening during the daytime. Friday’s pool party will take place at the Dream South Beach’s rooftop pool, which has been voted one of the best in the area. Saturday’s Aftersun Pool Party will take place at The Oasis in Miami. However, the highlight of the daytime parties is sure to be the world-famous Matinee La Leche Beach Party which will take place on Sunday, December 1 from 1:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. on the sand in Miami Beach, at Lummus Park at 12th Street. Matinee resident DJ Phil Romano and guest DJ Dan Slater will keep the beats going all afternoon. General admission and VIP tickets are available. La Leche Beach Party benefits Miami Beach Pride.

The night time parties get started on Thanksgiving evening, but they really get heated up on Friday night, November 29, for Matinee’s Pervert - The Pleasure of Darkness, which will take over Club Space in Miami from 10 p.m. - 7 a.m. This is the first of what organizers are calling their “four massive world class productions.” The evening will feature resident DJs Micky Friedman and Tom Stephan as well as guest DJ Kidd Madonny. Saturday’s Meat Market party, one of the centerpieces of the weekend, will be the first event at the Magic City Innovations District in Miami. Meat Market will feature the sounds of world famous DJs Isaac Escalante and Flavio Zarza as well as Miami’s own Hansell Leyva. Sunday’s Urge Titanium will also take place at the same venue. Titanium will be followed by The After (after party), which will take place at Wynwood Factory from 6 a.m. until noon.

Check out Circuit Festival Miami’s full lineup of DJs as well as the complete list of all of the parties that are taking place. Party packages are available and include priority entrance to events, a T-shirt, and local discounts. VIP packages that include alcohol at most events are also available, as are tickets to individual events. We can’t wait to see you there. Don’t forget the sunscreen and to stay hydrated!
