Filipino Kamayan and Karaoke Dinner
This event has passed.
Thriver Culture presents a unique dining experience celebrating Filipino cuisine and culture on Wednesday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m. at 1-800-Lucky. This immersive cultural event combines a traditional Kamayan dinner with a karaoke session.
Kamayan, which translates to "eating with hands" in Tagalog, is a communal Filipino feast where participants enjoy a variety of dishes served on banana leaves. This immersive experience allows guests to savor the flavors of Filipino cuisine and embrace the cultural tradition of eating with their hands.
A team of talented chefs, including James Beard Finalist Nicole Ponseca (Jeepney's Chef) and special guest chefs Leicel Ros and Nancy Dominguez (Sili), have crafted a special Spring seasonal menu. The menu features a variety of dishes like crispy Lumpia, Chicken Inasal and Lechon Kawali. Following the delicious feast, guests can take the stage and belt out their favorite tunes during a karaoke session.
