Immerse yourself in the iconic texts showcased in The Wolfsonian's latest exhibition, Silhouettes: Image and Word in the Harlem Renaissance, through a three-part book club series. Held at The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum and led by FIU English professor Shawn Christian, the second meeting of the series will center on Claude McKay's Banjo, a distinctive novel that explores the Black experience in the early 20th century.
This series offers a platform to explore and engage with influential writings from the Harlem Renaissance. Further details on text selections will be provided upon registration.
