MOCA Makers: Comedor Azul
This event has passed.
Join MOCA on Saturday, February 10th for a culinary workshop celebrating maize, in collaboration with Comedor Azul. More than just a staple food, maize is a symbol of community, heritage and sustainability. Led by Comedor Azul, workshop participants will redefine their relationship with this essential food through hands-on experiences, discussions and the art of creation.
Founded by a trio of multidisciplinary artists - Amaris Cruz-Guerrero, Joaquín Stacey-Calle, and Leslie Gomez-Gonzalez - Comedor Azul transcends culinary boundaries by fostering connections, listening and cultivating a collective vision for a more harmonious future. Reserve your seat and become a part of this unique event where food intersects with art, history and community.
