Witness renowned Latin-American instrumentalists, Daniela Padrón and Nestor Torres, together on stage at the Thursday, January 4 installment of the Music at the Monastery concert series. Known for his dynamic mix of Latin Jazz, pop, world rhythms and classical styles, Grammy-winning Puerto Rican flautist Nestor Torres has a rhythmic and mellifluous flute sound that stands apart in a class by itself. He's collaborated with diverse artists such as Gloria Estefan, Kenny Loggins, Dave Mathews, Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, among others.
Music at the Monastery is a concert series presented by Latin Grammy-nominated violinist Daniela Padrón. Performances are held once a month on Thursday nights at the historic Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a happy hour at the bar plus refreshing drinks and tasty bites by Sobre la Mesa. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.
