What to Do at the South Beach Seafood Week 2018

What started as a small weekend seafood festival on South Beach has grown into a weeklong seafood spectacular that can only happen in Miami. South Beach Seafood Week kicks off Miami’s globally recognized stone crab season every October. This high-end event is full of Miami’s leading chefs displaying their cooking talents through a variety of culinary competitions and showcases. All these foodie-pumped challenges lead up to Saturday’s festival with music, food and open bars in the heart of South Beach. Feel good about indulging your seafood cravings because proceeds from the South Beach Seafood Festivalall go to benefit the Community Initiatives Foundation programs, including its EAT SMART program that encourages quality youth nutrition and childhood development by providing healthy weekend meals and nutritional education to Miami Beach kids.

Saturday’s beachfront festival, sponsored by Jack Daniel’s, is a four-block party where over 13,000 seafoodies get to enjoy a day of fun in the sun the Sobe way. Indulge your taste buds at pop up cafes from Miami’s leading restaurateurs such as Joe’s Stone Crabs, A Fish Called Avalon and Naked Taco, just to start.

Find the freshest and most delicious seafood dishes all paired with free open bars for guests 21 and over. Besides mouth-watering grub, you can listen to live music at the Main Stage, jam out to iHeart Radio DJs at the Jack Daniel’s Beach Club, kick back playing games, partake in culinary demos in the Whole Foods Market Culinary Showcase, dabble in VIP Experiences over in the Range Rover Hospitality Village, party at the VIP Dance Club, and so much more – right on the sand.
