Shop ‘till you drop in Coral Gables.
From small and large malls, to designer shops, neighborhood boutiques and its own “Bridal Row,” Coral Gables is a definite shopping destination for just about anyone. Coral Gables is known for a lot of things–like tasty restaurants, its popular Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre, magnificent hotels like the iconic Biltmore Hotel and of course, the trendy and sophisticated Miracle Mile. Of all of the things it’s popular for, however, there is no greater “must-do” in Coral Gables then its shopping. From high-end designer storefronts, to intimate boutiques, major chains, bridal shops and more, Coral Gables is the ultimate Miami neighborhood for today’s shopaholics.
When it comes to Coral Gables, the first thing that usually comes to mind is Miracle Mile. Known for its Euro-style outdoor cafes, lantern-lit sidewalks, perfect landscaping, adorable shops and exclusive retail stores, Miracle Mile is equal parts romantic and exciting.
And when you shop along Miracle Mile, the first thing you’ll notice is all of its boutiques. At Emporium Boutique, shoppers will find expertly-curated racks of clothes by local, independent and world-renowned designers like BB Dakota, Blank Denim, Gypsy 05 and Red Haute.
At Bertini European Men's Clothing, men can find elegant European apparel just for them. Head to Shop I. Designs for the latest eyewear from top designers like Oliver Peoples, Chrome Hearts, Tom Ford and Barton Perreira. Of course, it’s not all about expensive brands. There is a large Ross at the end that promises great discounts on top finds.
Finally, a long day of clothes shopping deserves a relaxing treat. Founded in 1982, Books & Books in Coral Gables, invites guests to relax with a good book and a gourmet coffee, or even a glass of wine, in its idyllic courtyard. As one of the most well-respected independent bookstores in the country, it boasts a hand-picked inventory of some of the best page-turners, as well as a regular calendar of local, national and international writers; all of whom are part of the shop’s award-winning reading series.

Coral Gables is filled with over three dozen bridal shops and salons, making it an iconic shopping destination for brides-to-be from all parts of the world. A one-of-a-kind “Bridal Row,” Miracle Mile has everything from dress and invitation designers, to bridesmaid boutiques, cake shops, jewelry stores and more.
For a glamorous option, head to J. Del Olmo Bridal Gallery. Owned by a dynamic father-daughter duo, this Miracle Mile shop carries gowns from local South Florida designers, including the J. Del Olmo line. Adding to their services, this locale has alteration services and promises to clean and preserve your gown after your wedding has ended.
Twinkle Twinkle promises to add a little sparkle to your big day. Go there for items like crystal hair jewelry, embellished veils, Swarovski crystal cake toppers, embellished sashes, or glamorous, shimmering teardrop earrings. All will add an element of “pizzazz” to any wedding day.
Alegria’s Bride is a staple boutique in Miami, boasting countless bridal gown styles at affordable prices. It also sells mother-of-the-bride gowns, lingerie, shoes and other bridal accessories, and charges a flat fee for alterations, which saves customers money and is unique for most bridal shops. Another dress shop, Alessia’s Bridal, specializes in custom veils, and can add beading and other details to whatever dress or veil you choose.
For those clothing items on your wedding checklist that aren’t a wedding dress, head to Merlili Bridal Boutique. It sells bridesmaids dresses and accessories that your best friends might actually want to wear again, and has sample sales where older gowns are sold for reduced prices.
Everyone loves a mall, big or small. At Miracle Marketplace, a multi-level “mini mall” with giants like Nordstrom Rack, DSW Shoes, Bed Bath & Beyond, Marshalls, PetSmart, Ultra and more, shoppers can find anything they choose–and at a great price. There’s also a giant L.A. Fitness there, various restaurants, as well as free parking, a car wash service in the parking garage, and if you need it, valet car parking. Miracle Marketplace is located just a couple blocks away from Miracle Mile, on Coral Way.
