Stiltsville and Key Biscayne Sunset Cruise

HistoryMiami's resident historian Dr. Paul George takes you on a relaxing boat ride to Stiltsville where you will learn how this once vivacious community was transformed into the seven houses that remain amidst the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay. Known in the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s as a playground for wealthy and well-connected Miamians, Stiltsville was once home to the now infamous Crawfish Eddies and Bikini Club. Cruise past the Cape Florida Lighthouse on Key Biscayne, while listening to the history of Stiltsville, Key Biscayne and the city of Miami. Tour leaves from Bayside Marketplace at 401 Biscayne Blvd. and tickets are $60 for adults and $25 for children.

Design District Neighborhood Walk

Explore the heart of the Design District with HistoryMiami's Dr. Paul George. Learn how the cutting edge architecture and high-end boutiques evolved from the historic Buena Vista neighborhood. View public art installations, hear about the developer Craig Robins and learn about the neighborhood master plan created by Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk. Tours start at Luminaire Lab 3901 NE 2nd Ave. and are $30 per person.

A History of Street Art in Wynwood

Explore the Wynwood Art District with HistoryMiami and learn the story of how this textile warehouse and immigrant neighborhood, formerly known as “Little San Juan,” is quickly becoming the world’s largest outdoor art gallery. Stroll past huge murals and various street art displays as you listen to the history of graffiti from the advent of written language to today. Hear stories of the artists, residents and developers who made Wynwood home to over seventy galleries, five museums and seven art complexes. Tours starts at Panther Coffee, 2390 NW 2nd Ave. and tickets are $30 per person.

Downtown Archaeology & Architecture Walk

Walk along the confluence of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay in Downtown and learn about Miami’s history, from the Tequesta people to early pioneers and modern times. You'll view the art and architecture along the walk to an archaeological site. Tour starts at HistoryMiami, 101 West Flagler Street and tickets are $30 per person.

Little Havana History & Culture Walk

Join a HistoryMiami tour guide on a fascinating tour of the world’s largest and best known Cuban neighborhood outside of Cuba. In Little Havana, sample a guava mojito as you mingle with local artists and preview over twelve art studios and private galleries. Along the way, learn the art of cigar making and discover rare Cuban art from early 19th and 20th century. See the Walkway of the Stars, paying homage to Latin American musicians, artists and entertainers. Stroll down Cuban Memorial Boulevard and hear highlights of important events in the Cuban exile experience. La Petite Haiti Culture Walk

Learn about the Haitian diaspora with a HistoryMiami tour guide through the colorful neighborhood of Little Haiti. Islands of Biscayne Bay Boat Tour

Enjoy a cruise of Biscayne Bay from Indian Creek Village to South Beach, with Dr. Paul George. Along the way see the sites of homesteading communities Lemon City and Buena Vista, the islands that Christo wrapped and the famous hotels along the water. Tour leaves from Bayside Marketplace at 401 Biscayne Blvd. and tickets are $60 for adults and $25 for children.

Moon Over Miami Cruise

Enjoy an entertaining and relaxing ride under the stars with Dr. Paul George as he recounts the history of Miami.
